Reception Manager
The job role of Reception Manager:

The front of house management team is looking for an experienced and dynamic Reception Manager to lead the team and deliver uncompromising hospitality, providing our guests with the finest food and beverages, accompanied by courteous and efficient service to guests throughout their dining experience.
The role is responsible for assisting the restaurant managers in all aspects of restaurant operation and maximising covers and revenue through effective reservations book management whilst managing the Host team.
The ideal candidate for Reception Manager:
- At least 3 years of Hospitality experience in a management capacity at a high end, fast-paced hospitality environment
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations; written and verbal English language communication skills
- Must have a professional and well-groomed appearance, as he/she may be the first impression of the restaurant
- Must be prompt, courteous, and reliable
- Flexible availabilit, working any 5 days a week between Monday - Sunday
- Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain and set standards

Maintenance Engineer
The job role of Maintenance Engineer:
SUSHISAMBA® Covent Garden is a fast paced fine-dining operation, offering the most superior cuisine and dining experience to our guest.
The Maintenance Engineer at SUSHISAMBA® Covent Garden is a key role for the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities for Maintenance Engineer:
- Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns
- Performs and/or monitors reactive maintenance, planned works and PPM
- Responds to all building related safety concerns
- Maintains departmental compliance with company maintenance procedures
- Supports company departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
- Assists in the supervision of temporary maintenance contractors
- Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations
- Maintain all areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained site
- Must possess knowledgeable of basic hand/power tool operation
Core Skills and Requirements for Maintenance Engineer:
- Previous restaurant or hotel maintenance department experience
- At least 1 year experience in a similar capacity
- Should have basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry concepts
- Must be available to respond to emergencies when not physically at the job site

Host/Hostess
Job role of Host/Hostess:
SUSHISAMBA® London are now looking for an experienced Host/Hostess to join the team at Covent Garden.
The Host/Hostess is responsible for ensuring the prompt recognition and seating of all guests, and assists the servers in providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to guests throughout their dining experience.
Service is always at the forefront so it’s essential for you to be exceptionally welcoming, dynamic and very friendly. Our guests choose SUSHISAMBA® Covent Garden for a memorable experience, and you will be part of making each experience that extra special.
The ideal candidate for Host/Hostess:
- At least 1 year of front of house experience in a fast paced hospitality environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and most holidays
- Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
- Answer phones in a prompt manner with appropriate scripting
- Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Previous experience working with Qadranet
- Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed
- Direct guests to coatrooms and waiting areas such as Bar and/or lounge
- Must have a professional and well groomed appearance, as he/she is the first impression of the restaurant
- Ability to multi-task and follow directions

Bar Manager
The job role of Bar Manager:

The SUSHISAMBA® Covent Garden beverage offering is beautifully and originally created, and frequently updated according to season and trends. We are now looking for a Bar Manager to lead all beverage operations.
The ideal candidate for Bar Manager:
- At least 5 years of Beverage experience with at least 2 years in managerial capacity
- Personal License holder
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, similar to SUSHISAMBA®
- Ability to lead a team of bartenders and cocktail waiters / waitresses
- Customer focused - demonstrating exceptional guest service
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Have a willingness to learn and grow within the business
- Ability to maintain and set processes and standards
- Knowledge of Sake (desirable)
- Certifications as required to comply with government regulations and health codes, such as Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness, Alcohol Certification

The culinary team are looking for experienced and dynamic Chef De Partie to exemplify uncompromising hospitality, providing our guests with the finest food and beverages, accompanied by courteous and efficient service to guests throughout their dining experience.
The Ideal candidate for Chef de Partie:
- Previous experience working within a similar restaurant setting as Chef de Partie or higher
- Preferable Japanese, Peruvian or Nikei cuisine experience
- You must be ambitious and have the desire to learn and grown within the team
- Flexible availability, working any 4 days a week between Monday – Sunday
